Official statistics show that 1.750.000 people in the US are diagnosed with breast cancer. What’s more alarming is the fact that around 8,000,000 people die as a result of breast cancer on yearly basis in the US.

The founder, Julian Rois Cantu is a teen that was inspired by his mother who got diagnosed twice with breast cancer. His mother in fact has been battling with breast cancer for many years, and at the end she needed to do double mastectomy. The reason for mastectomy was due to the late diagnosis which might have caused her life.

In fact even though women regularly do examine their breasts it is very hard to notice any unusual change that happens in their body. Due to these reasons Julian decided that he needs to find a better way to detect early signs and change in the body of women that develop breast cancer.

This is the reason why this magical bra was invented, hoping that it can save millions of people.

The innovative-magical Bra

The bra actually is consistent of 200 tactile sensors which react to any sign of breast cancer. All of the sensors actually track the blood pressure, blood flow, the color, and the temperature. It is required to carry this bra one hour per week in order to have enough time to gather all the data required.

On the other hand, the sensors are able to map the surface of the breasts and all the data can be transferred to computer through Bluetooth. This way woman can examine the collected data and notice any signs of breast cancer.

This innovation actually made Julian to establish his own company, and named it Higia Technologies. The main goal of this company is to improve the quality of women’s lives, and prevent development of breast cancer. The name of the magical Bra is EVA.

Julian also won first prize at the Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards with his innovative bra.
