USE GINGER TO FIGHT COLD AND COUGH
|Ayurvedic treatments have been relied mainly on ginger properties. It is used as a medicine that treats cold and cough. Most common ways of using ginger is in form of juice or tea.
Ginger is used mainly against cough but also it acts as antihistamine, decongestant and is rich with antiviral properties that help the process of fighting illness and bacteria that cause cold.
These are the instructions and ingredients needed to prepare and use Ginger as medicine:
Ginger Tea
– ½ ounce of ginger sliced in pieces
– Boil water together with these pieces of ginger
– After it has reached boiling point, remove it and strain it. Drink this tea twice a day
Another mix is ginger juice and honey
– Take one piece of ginger and chop it in pieces
– Take one container and fill it with one and a half cup of water, ½ cup of lemon, 1 spoon of raw honey
– After the mixture boils for couple of minutes, remove it and cover it for 10 minutes
– Strain the mixture and drink it
This way you may also make cinnamon ginger drink
It is widely known that cinnamon acts as anti-virus that fights cold in your body. Also it helps a lot with sore throat when used.
– Put in a glass ½ tea spoons of cinnamon, one lemon, sliced ginger and honey tea
– Mix it until you get one compound
– Drink it and enjoy
